Re: 'Shame on You' by Clara Salaman

Yes, I sensed that she wanted to say much more but was hampered by "legal reasons". Interesting that she was interviewed by Libby Purves, who was scheduled to be a key speaker at a conference organised by the SES's Education Renaissance Trust back in 2006. She pulled out. http://www.educa...

An excellent idea!
It would just need to be a single page with links to all available info on St James such as www.stjamesinquiry.org/ etc
I'm not that web savvy with regards to the best way to create it to get a high google ranking though.

I think a website is an excellent idea - throughout the decades the only thing that seems to have a reforming effect on the schools and SES is negative publicity - or rather - the truth being disclosed. They hate it! I was shocked by some of the what I heard from parents at the current junior school...

I don’t know of any videos, but there is an audio recording of a recent talk by Donald Lambies (SES head) explaining the SES philosophy. See: http://www.schooleconomicscience.org/events/lectures.htm#philosophicalgarden He does explain clearly that it is based the Advaita Vedanta Hindu religion –...

Mike (probably quite fairly) edited out the contact details for Pincham I posted above. If anyone does want to write to him at his home address, PM me and I will pass it on. (perfectly justified I'd say - as some correspondence sent to him via the school seems either not to reach him - or he's decid...

I'm not sure when private schools go back. It would be very interesting to find out if the schools are indeed considering a governors reshuffle, or whether the old guard is planning to sit it out.. I cant believe they would have the arrogance to do absolutely nothing - but then again... Pincham did ...

Can anyone who is currently in the SES enlighten us as to what effect - if any - the release of Marcos report has had? As it covers a period up to not that long ago, and clearly implicates the SES and Lambie himself in gross mismanagement and irregular practices where the St james schools are concer...

Bonsai wrote about the governors: The inaction over resignations (or sackings) is the only thing that really surprises me. The fact that a number of key peoples positions are entirely untennable in the light of Mr Townend's report does indicate to me that the arrogance, self righteousness and the po...

heres a link to the 'SES for babies' thread: http://www.whyaretheydead.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=474 I agree with sparks that 'love and discipline', the 'civilised child', 'stillness', the 'true essence' of the child are all aspects of SES philosophy which will probably resonate with many of those ...

I would be very interested to find out how Boddy was appointed. Ive read his CV in the school prosepctus... Accordingly, it will be possible for existing governors to remain in place until the last day of the next year - i.e. it might be 13 months from now before governors change. Agree thats technically posible - but my ...
