...my mum even had the gall to tell me that the school had the solution to being angry about what had happened in the past - live in the present! ... How to excuse your own abominal actions in 3 simple words! "Live in the present" - sheesh - they live in a McLaren-authored Discworld, held...

I guess it wouldn't make me so angry if it was just a bunch of delusional adults - but alas, that is not the case...another bunch adults, ill-informed or delusional themselves, entrust their children to them! I fully agree about SR spouting a load of crap about something she knows nothing about, but...

So...more of the same from the SES then!

Well done to those involved...if it has made a difference to just one person, it has been worth it.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall in there - did anyone here actually attend the meeting?

I'm suprised you were able to read it - I would not have been able to manage it.

Reading time is precious enough as it is - no point in reading something that will just make me angry.

Yes I laughed when I read that story too. I think if you have a line of kids sitting up straight with their eyes closed pretending to meditate, then you are more likely to achieve the domino effect when the vertically challenged derranged teacher comes up behind the one at the end and gives him a fu...

Everyone who was there at the time, knew it happened. Anyone who wasn't, just can't believe that it did and so they cast aspersions on those of us who have recounted our experiences. We all know that canings were a weekly occurance and often the same faces would invariably be lined up outside the he...

At this point, let's not forget that the SES do not even describe themselves as a religion or of themselves as promoting one.

That in itsef would be a huge step!

Isn't that what Sir Huphrey suggested Jim Hacker say in his acceptance speech in the satirical and yet true-to-life comedy Yes (prime) Minister.

It's good that Donald Lambie has apologised, but poor taste that he has chosen to use at least half the space to advertise the schools.
