I have to apologise. I have now established that the letter to which I referred was, in fact, the open letter. Apparently, the combination of 'disruption' and 'safe' was interpreted as threatening, coming as it did after leafletting and graffiti at St James. However, I should not have raised a hare ...

I understand that a letter has been written to the person concerned asking him what he means by saying that 'otherwise the children will be harmed'. It would be quite wrong to suggest that I'm implying that anyone who has responded to my orginal post on the subject has been involved with this. As ET...

It is not my intention to inflame the situation nor do I believe that I have done so. I do not believe that I have been duped or fed a line. I'm afraid that such a letter is quite possible given the fury displayed by some posters on this board. It is up to whoever wrote such a letter to post it on t...

Ben - your questions are completely valid. No - I haven't seen the letter and I'm unlikely to. Yes, my post was directed very generally to anyone reading this site, quite possibly someone out there who may or may not have been a former pupil of St James who wishes to take direct action. That person ...

I heard this evening that a letter has been written to the governors of St James demanding this and that, and ending with the chilling words, '...otherwise the children will be harmed'. Blackmail is always intolerable and threats to harm children are wicked and insupportable. If true, this is a new ...

[Leaving Stanton to speak for herself, maybe you'd like to explain to me in what sense I'm a stooge? Or, you could just admit that it's another example of the casual, unthinking aggression that seems to be the stock-in-trade hereabouts.] Unthinking? I certainly hope so. If you were thinking I would ...

A few days ago I received a letter from John Story, in reply to the one I was invited to send to the governors as a result of having contributed to the Townend inquiry. Reading between the lines it struck me that it would be worthwhile for anyone, who has not yet taken part in the reconciliation pro...
