Re: Shutting down
Since the effects of experiences in organisations such as SES and SFSK are long lasting and some people are still subjected to manipulation and misguidance, there is an ongoing need for this forum, which is quite obvious from the continuous activity on the forum. Also, how would people who intend t...

Re: Sydney School for Self Knowledge - 2
Thank you Leonie, for posting .. I totally agree with all you said, and Jo-Anne .. Yes many a heated argument we have witnessed with no locking of the thread. sydneykatieking has indeed bought many issues in regard to SFSK to light, and I can relate to, or see something in every point she has bought...

Re: Sydney School for Self Knowledge
Yes, enlightened such is the devotion of some .. Over the years La Nina and Michael often commented on how no one looks after HH, and how his health suffers. I never saw or heard anything that they might have done to alleviate the suffering of their Guru that they so revered .. He is we assume, an e...

Re: Sydney School for Self Knowledge
Hello sydneykatieking, Thanks for that enlightening post .. I had never heard the story of Nina being a nurse .. but I will find out. I did not know either that MacLaren did not send them out to start the SOP .. Nor that Michael was not actually an engineer .. I do know that they never put their nam...

Re: Sydney School for Self Knowledge
I went to a meeting with Mrs Marvro last night and she gave us a rundown of her trip to India. Krishna claims that His Holiness evidently swims twice a day, but he has been confined to a wheelchair for quite some time. The Shankaracharya, does swim every day ..now twice a day when he is at his home...

Hello Minnie and welcome to the forums, Thank you for your great post, I can relate to every bit of it. Gardening in the rain brought a smile to my face .. yes I remember freezing windy weather being out there ..no gardening gloves allowed, being given 'instructions' from another student on what we ...

Re: Sydney School for Self Knowledge
enlightened .. You know nothing of what Ninas school is really about, you wear blinkers ..but that is fine, they are your protection! You know nothing of Krishna either .. RE Krishna: Ive heard of you on the grapevine, I beleive you were quite envious of the Mavros and considered a bit of a control ...

Re: Sydney School for Self Knowledge
Hello Krishna, A small clarification .. Judith is not Ninas favourite, J is her devoted servant and has been treated poorly over the years. In regard to all the spiritual words and teachings that Gurudev has given the Mavros over the many years, that he had asked them long ago to publish for all man...

Re: Sydney School for Self Knowledge
Hello Nick, First of all it has not .. "been over 2 years now". The trip to India was last August, not even a year ago. But rightly so it has taken a long while to have the audio link done. And the audio is at the moment with the person who is preparing the relevant parts, and the link. It...

Re: SFSK Devotee
Welcome to the forums Sydneysider ..
MOTS, I totally agree with your last post .. (and most others!)
Well put, and it is something along with many other things I/we/some of us
never questioned until now..
When the view is much wider, and in a clearer perspective.

Re: Coming to terms with stupidity
Yes enlightened, no doubt a 'catalyst for change' .. and most likely because she has no choice or lose her school. And possibly she even does realise some of her mistakes ... This is a big maybe though! The student who went to live overseas and had the car accident was probably someone who did not t...

Re: Coming to terms with stupidity
I agree with you sydneykatieking .. Jo-Anne that is such a great post, really spot on ..thank you. "Your presence also validates their own choice" I find this true in my own experience, whenever I saw things that were not right, had doubts etc, I would look to my peers and think .. well th...

Re: Coming to terms with stupidity
Yes MOTS I can see where your'e coming from, if I hadnt ventured into this forum I guess Id be none the wiser....I would have just taken it on face value..the thing is that I am now firmly established in SFSK, Ive made some good friends there, and i like the general demeanour of the SFSK. Yes, 'som...
