Re: The SES and Regional Schools in England

Even Townend, as far as I recall, is an SES member. I would be amazed if this were true. Is there any evidence for this? James Townend says in the Inquiry Report (3.6b) "For the avoidance of doubt I attended both private preparatory school from the ages of 7 to 13 and public school from then u...

Tootsie wrote: Listening to a dialogue that Krishnamurti recorded, he stated that "Truth is a pathless land. You can't approach it by any religion or sect. You are accustomed to being told how far you have advanced, what your spiritual state is—how childish ..." I would suggest you read T...

Pincham should resign just to allow the next generation of governors to have some credibility in sorting the schools out for the future. There has been an announcement that Roger Pincham is retiring. The new chairman of the board will be Jeremy Sinclair. I don't know the exact date of the changeover.

SES blog / bulletin board

A few members of the SES have set up a discussion blog, discussing SES-internal matters in a very public way. The blog is approx. one year old, and it claims that it has been approved by Lambie, the leader of the school. According to the latest post, the format is currently being changed to that of ...

The 1st edition is indeed "long out of print" from 1985. But the 2nd edition was apparently published beginning in 1999 by Vision Paperbacks, with the additional author Sheena Dewan. I made it clear to Vision Paperbacks that I was enquiring about the 2nd (1999) edition, co-authored by She...

As for the quote from Matthew - well thats a cult-enabling charter if ever I heard one! Yes clearly there is a point to examining one's own motivations and behaviour ... Well, that point was my whole point. Examining one's own motivations and behaviour as deeply, and with as much passion, as others...

I do expect the SES and any other faith based organisation that attributes good moral behaviour to their belief system to be whiter than white... That's absolutely fine - as long as you are willing to be whiter than white yourself. However this is just a case of practice what you preach. Agreed - a...
