Mike was very helpful in directing me to a Bagpuss site when I asked about an avatar. Alas, the one I wanted with 'merry' smile and curly hat is 100 pixels. Ideas above his/her station!

I don't like this thread - it's nasty and vindictive. And before anybody complains that the subject was also - consider this: how is hounding someone going to serve the cause of justice? Is it not, in its own way, an abuse?

Good point Tom. But if we are to encourage parents and SES members to post on this board then we do have to be more hospitable as Ben showed in a different thread. Bashing them as soon as they stick their noses above the parapet will serve no good purpose. You don't like the views expressed? No need...

At some point PPIAG will have to come out into the open if it wishes its claim to represent former pupils to have any validity. You can lurk in the shadows for only so long, but after a while you just look silly.
