Well though I was told not to discuss the initiation, I personally found it a physically painful experience - like having something drilling down into my skull from the top of my head... It was definately physically painful and it made me lean forward - something which Mr White seemed alarmed about...

Well, when I join (in 1978), there wasn't The Web and I don't recall seeing an advert either. An Aunt who had been involved with the Theosophist Society knew of my interest in the Occult, Eastern Religions etc and suggested that I join. I was brought up a Roman Catholic and I suppose as a reasonably...

"The sixteen Swara are the sixteen measure of the universe. It is rare for a man to develop more than 4 Shakti, and this over a period of many lives. Mozart developed only one. a fully realised man has developed all 16." "It is in the first 16 years of life that real development takes place. after ...

Re: Hello Mary!

Great to hear from you again! Hope (as I'm sure) you're having a great time, Hannah says hi. I completely agree with what you are saying, and I think the people who don't just because they hate SES and everything and anything to do with it are arrogant and spiteful. Anyway, hope you get this, and h...

BoeingDriver, I'm sorry but you really lost me there, WHY DON'T WE ALL GO FOR A BEER! Sam xox Once again, when a serious post is made and the essence of the purpose behind a lot of the postings here is re-iterated, you act confused and suggest that perhaps Alcohol will help. I really can't remember...

Tom Grubb I do not believe or dibelieve your claim that the SES thinks that Sanskrit has mystical properties but some actual proof would be good before you claim things like that! I'm not Tom, but I certainly remember having been told that in Sanskrit/Caligraphy groups. This is also key to the prac...

Re: St. James does NOT 'Recruit' Pupils into Funny Farm

Depending on which Cult you are discussing, Health care professionals (i.e. Consultant Psychiatrists) tend to start seeing patients who are suffering from a range of Mental Health problems including severe depression, self-harm, feeling suicidal, severe anxiety, obsessive compulsive behaviour etc, ...

Really? Well maybe if you are signing up for the Foundation Groups. I certainly don't recall having made such a vow ... unless it was part of the initiation ceremeony that I never felt I got a proper explaination for.

I believe sam made a mistake. He meant "our" thread, as in a thread set up by a current pupil or one recently left. Please don't take mistakes or comments like that personaly or seriously, and then turn them into a base for a petty argument. just jousting with you ;) You're a prickly lot aren't you...

 :fist: lol and yet another constructive post from young Mr Hyde - 6th form debates must be highly entertaining if the current level of posting is anything to go by. The current pupils really don't seem to 'get' the point (consistently made throughout the board) that it was the Governors job...

So far all of your replies have been aimed at our 'poor literacy skills' may I point out that you spelt primary wrong too! (Sticks tongue out) But seriously, all these petty arguments seem to be getting you lot nowhere, infact they are from a conversational level you WOULD expect from a 'primarcy' ...

This is a reply to a pretty petty jab at the st james IT department. The senior boys spend a huge amount on money on IT! Im not sure what it is like now but when i left they had over 30 mac ibooks that any pupil could sign out for the day. They had a number of dell desktops, a mac Xserve which powe...

Dear 'SES-Survivor-' Believe it because I'm sorry to disappoint you but it?s true.
