Tom Grubb I do not believe or dibelieve your claim that the SES thinks that Sanskrit has mystical properties but some actual proof would be good before you claim things like that! :bday: I'm sure former or current SES members could do a much better job of proving this. Tom ok, (there goes my lunch ...

Why "extremely"? Surely it would be better to master modern european languages that also "train the mind" and ar...

the violence you saw from the older kids was a result of exampls from the staff. For merely jogging his arm as they walked by Rusell punched a kid in the face knocking them out at Chepstow Villas in the changing room. Debenham would give a severe beating (severe, bruising for 10 days- 2 weeks) for a...

Correct. If I was to send my boy to an SOP school, it would be precisely because of the doctrine it espouses. As someone said previously, I don't quite understand why St James doesn't make its philosophical/religious bases more transparent - plenty of independent schools do, and suffer no ill effec...

Re: Justice's motives etc

You all (unlike me) choose to hide behind pseudonyms ,'nicknames' 'compare scars' hangwringing and further detailing 'war stories' I found this post incredibly insulting. To term the testimonies and reminiscences here as mere "handwringing", ?swapping war stories? to criticise posters as 'hiding be...
