the website link [to SES]?is not accessible via the Junior Schools section of the site, only the Senior Schools. As the Junior Schools are the primary intake point, this is the point where the SES needs to be most transparent. I'm totally disgusted. Surely this is illegal. mm, I hope you won?t take...

Well though I was told not to discuss the initiation, I personally found it a physically painful experience - like having something drilling down into my skull from the top of my head... It was definately physically painful and it made me lean forward - something which Mr White seemed alarmed about...

I was never punished in this way but it h...

3 weeks is WAAAAY too late to realize something you should know before you register...and which would be so simple for the School to communicate if it wanted to --, that they are "coming from a spiritual basis and not an academic one."

Ross,

[the children?s schools] teachers are given this example [coercion] by their SES tutors; The crucial difference: adults are free to leave the SES but children at St James are [not] This goes right to the heart of the matter. Whether the SES calls itself a religion or not, parents are legally within...

Also, two other things ? there is some Hindu tradition which frowns on crossing the ocean ? I?m not at all well-informed about this but something about how an orthodox Hindu can walk far & wide, and can cross river-boundaries, but should never cross an ocean. Some interpret this prohibition as a...

Would be pretty surprised if Vasudevananda Saraswati visited any of the SES or children's schools; he's got enough to do with the succession dispute over his own leadership. There are three different claimants to the Jytoirmath (northern) lineage, and although Vasudevananda is recognized as the legi...
