Re: Ficino School - New Zealand

The other thing I'd add MrBlobby, is that I do not believe for one minute that the St James model of childrens education has changed sufficiently and learnt from the failures of the past. I do not believe that these schools really understand issues that we complain about here on this forum. I think ...

Re: Lucca Leadership in Ireland

I notice that Lucca have recently updated there website and they've added a FAQ . Here are a couple of the questions and answers from it. Who runs Lucca Leadership? Lucca Leadership is an independent organisation and is neither controlled by nor advocates any particular religious or political agenda...

Re: Ficino School - New Zealand

Hello MrBlobby, Welcome to the forum. Let me start by saying I have no direct experience of the Ficino school. I do however know Mark Broadwith, the founding headmaster of the school. He came over from New Zealand to London and taught at St James for about 12 years before going back to New Zealand t...

Re: SES and the Internet - what is this? Universities Beware

the SES and other Cults are known to recruit through universities. Inform send people round to warn students. That is why I am a bit hawkish on the net. I have had family members at universities and after my experiences with the SES I would not have any of the SES near my family. End of. Woodgreen,...

Re: SES and the Internet - what is this? Universities Beware

As far as I can tell, the website is just a parking page and seems to contain no original material relating to some underlying organisation. The website is registered by someone in Australia. A lookup of how the domain is registered reveals the following: Domain ID:D158431456-LROR Domain Name:SCHOOL...

Re: SES is a New Religious Movement according to C of E.

Sorry if I got the Rev Rob's connection to the SES wrong. But as you will see from his blog profile he did serve at St. Augustine's at some point. Not a coincidence at all, just he took over when Father Hewitt retired, which was around 1995-96 He has definitely presided over church services for St ...

Re: SES is a New Religious Movement according to C of E.

Bluemoon - one thing to be aware of. I didn't really want to post this, but the St. James' School Chaplain, according to the SES, is the Rev. Rob ( or Bob) Marshall, quite a leading light in the C of E's media staff. He was at St. Augustine's in the old days ( This Forum and Clara's book suggest th...

Re: Us gay folk...

If Lambie ever looks in the mirror he must see a grown man who is married to a strange but not unattractive woman, lives in a house he doesn’t pay for, is revered by 100s of people around the world, for whom his word is as good as that of god. Why the hell would he want it any other way? ..and so p...

Re: Us gay folk...

If you actually did everything they told you, meditated, got up at 3 or 4 in the morning, only ate fruit, bread and cheese, you'd end up so burnt out that you'd believe you actually had had some kind of miraculous spiritual experience. That's what happens on weeks, thats why people are so fascinate...

Re: Us gay folk...

I too was raised and schooled as a Catholic in the 60s and 70s and I can honestly say that apart from the odd ruler on the hand, nothing like the kind of abuse recorded against the SES Schools went on. And certainly not the mind control games. My junior and senior schools were keen on educating gir...

Re: Us gay folk...

Woodgreen, My sympathies for your loss. Don't worry about not yet crying, grief is a strange thing and manifests in many different ways. Ranting is alright too. Something I am picking up,(society is also reflected in the SES), is that the males in the SES "family" seem to continue in some ...

Re: Us gay folk...

Have you ever read Richard Dawkins 'The God Delusion'? Yes I have. I agree with you about his preachy tone and he does himself no favours by using it. His arguments are very compelling. The evolutionary explanations may well account from the fragile balances of charateristics of the human condition...

I can't stand the thought of going back, but my parents have been in too long and have too many friends to leave now. I don't even know what they'd do! But I know my mum has complained about not having many friends outside the school... well, thats kind of here fault but I can't tell her that... if...

Re: Us gay folk...

I just wanted to say a few things before I stay away for awhile from this forum. Reading it has left me seriously stressed out and not sleeping well, and worrying about the fact that I was in cult when I actually didn’t think it was a bad organisation, is really a damn unpleasant feeling. Hi Joeblo...
