Hi I went to St James school and in general I felt the 'pastoral care' to be very good. I always felt highly valued by my teachers with the odd term or two when I got in trouble. I was caned but have no problems with that. Apart from some severe bullying from older boys which greatly affected my tee...

Kier your personal letter idea is good. I think I'll take that up and post it and I'll detail exactly what think about St James and the schools which is certainly not that complimentary. The absense of such a statement probably explains why I seem such a confused and untrustworthy poster. I'll write...

I left the S.E.S with great conviction six years ago and haven't looked back since. This does mean I still have some emotional ties. I don't want to be committed to anything. This is my commitment. I will save my atttachments for people and friends not institutions. It's a shame to hear such a norma...

Justice. One of your better posts. I am writing another long one because I tink I have a lot to say. I'm sure I'll run out at some point. But this is an important moment in process, 'post report' and I personally think my contribution is quite valid. Read or don't read. I've read it a few times and ...

Dear parent, It was not my wish to cause you offense. Justice, whose aggressive (I think someone else has called it) qualities warrented it, needed in my view the third degree as you call it although I'm not exactly sure of the origins of this term but can guess it's meaning.. I am quite willing to ...

Hi yes i agree with you on all points. The above fits the S.o.E.S. But how much are these things so ingrained. I know loads of people in the schools who take some 'measures' and ignore others. From my perspective the S.o.E.S ( new name, new image to distance from past.....meaningless but probably qui...

As far as I know there were about fifteen arranged marraiges (some teachers) in the S.E.S in the 80's. It may be a little more a little less. Those that I know personally don't betray any symptoms that mark them out out from people that use other dating services. It's the role playing that gets me. ...

I think the pilgrim may be the connotation of a spiritual seeker/on a path to self realisation. I know it sounds a little absurd but the S.o.E.S is made up of a lot of random associations like this that then become God given inspiration

I don't have a message The law is longwinded. When it's shortened like in Justice's posts it looks more threatening. You go into detail and you begin to unloose the menace. I would presume that the persons who are making comments about verbal diarreoh wouldn't be making those comments if they agreed...

Dear Justice, It is fair enough that someone who is coming with your apparent strength and official sounding blurb that you are challenged. You are by far the most serious sounding poster this site has seen. Unfortunately for emmylou it is my day off. I'm sure however it is rather difficult to knock...

(I'm afraid this very very long indeed. Don't read it. Don't read it. I Don't plan to write much else. I don't see why a post should nessessarilly be short though. Short is superficial. (perhaps) If you don't want to read. Don't. I don't mind. why one person should dictate length I don't know. This ...

Justice I used the offensive word bullshitter because it is halfway between a real swear word and a limp wristed response like 'idiot' although I could have used that word too. I don't think you really have a point when you say I should not using a word like bullshitter because to anyone less sensit...

I ask the governors if they tell parents on introduction to St James that a key element to the S.E.S teachings, a core part, is that a woman should obey a man. If not then this unpopular S.E.S belief is hidden from parents. This is a hidden agenda. All the S.E.S couples I know have a relationship in...

Please Mr Big Bully Boy. Tell me how many of these conversations were had and do they count as 'numerous'. 10 20. 1 2 3 or 4? I myself am in touch with a parent with newspaper contacts. The problem we encounter is not that there are numerous parents defecting but the complete opposite. No one seems ...
