Well having skimmed through all that, it seems a fairly typical SES event. Funny how the same themes arise again and again - meditation for better concentration, using the left brain and not the right (because the right side makes children too independent), and the SES's great friend at the moment, ...

Well good for those of us who went along and did that, and how great that it's made the SES look like such overexcitable idiots. I'd love to know who that very senior member was though - I can understand why your not posting his name on here, even so. In my opinion, this is exactly the sort of thing...

Nice idea, FT! Since the stressful debacle with our private letters that were shown to our relatives, our family is kind of starting to move on. A good talk about everything with our SES relatives did help to clear the air a bit, although it wasn't perfect by any means. It's very wierd to have every...

Finally read the report yesterday, and it certainly makes interesting reading. Certain parts I found completely amazing - like the fact that teachers' salaries were evaluated according to need! No wonder many of them were so screwed up, having to live close to the poverty line whilst holding down a ...

I have recently heard on the grapevine that the SES "philosophy" material is being translated into German - so it seems they may be planning to attempt an invasion.

Let's hope they don't get far.

Yes, I'd like to say thanks too, and lovely to see it all back up and running - I've missed it!

Well done to you both.

Re: Lambie first steps

Do you get it yet???? Significant though this apology is, to be honest I don't think he does, or frankly that he ever will. The constant assertion of the schools as "happy and vibrant, and doing an excellent job" in one way or another by every SES or school member who comes on this site or speaks t...

I am interested to know - do any of the past pupils on this board think that it is possible that the current pupils might indeed be happy and safe as stated in Pincham's reply? I ask, because I was amazed by the strength of the reactions to the posts of the current pupils. It seemed to me that the ...

Great second post Sarah M, I agree with everything you put. The bit about us all being part of the St James' Community actually made me feel ill. I am not, nor have I ever been through my own choice, part of anything to do with St James' or the screwed up philosophy behind it. The governors' obsessi...

I'm all in favour of trying to move things forward, but it's difficult to know how to. I'm afraid I don't trust either lawyers or the media to have our best interests at heart, besides which it seems that we are not enough of a story for the mainstream media anyway. Also, if we try and force the gov...

All School members were brought in to help the day schools - decorating, scrubbing your ink stains off the wood floors in Queensgate on Saturdays (yes, me, too) and in countless other ways. That may well have been the case, but us pupils were also made to clean the schools - I remember a whole afte...

Having said all that, we have also been confused by the need to keep this third overseeing governor's name a secret.

It seems odd.

Having said that, I do wonder if they would have posted up here if JC and ET hadn't forced them to do it. Well done guys. There was no force involved. In the reply to the initial e-mail apology we received, we suggested that a post on here might be a good idea - there was no pressure put on them to...

Oh Sam, here you go again trampling on all our feelings - not apparently realising that you are actually making the schools look worse rather than better. I would respectfully suggest that, if you can't post anything more constructive than this, and if you are bored, then stop posting on here and go...

I have recently had e-mails both from Victoria McDonald at Channel 4 and Alex Nott at ITV and it seems that cold news is old news and they will not be doing any documentaries about the inquiry or the SES.

The media machine moves on, and we are left to pick up the pieces.
