I'm probably being very naive here, but what exactly is the
purpose of the Lucca Leadership?

Well, a brief trip to

www.luccaleadership.org

will give you most basics. The SES link will only become clear once you see the staff list, including Boddy family.

Looks like the x-th front for SES, now trying to bring out their doctrines in yet another field...
With folded palms,

Interesting to see Aatif Hassan's name there as 'Operations Director'. He's also the Chairperson of the supposedly independent former pupils' organisation, the Seventh Form: http://www.seventhform.org/

As far as I know he's not in Ses...

As far as I understand it, the aim is for Lucca leadership trust to serve a wider field than the youth of Ses. It is of course full of them -just look at the pictures on the site- although they do get 'outsiders' coming in for the courses. The bias is understandable considering the trust's origins and relatively young age as well as some of its advertising - as far as I know the 6th form recieve (another!) talk, this one concerning the aims of the trust followed by an invitation.
