The old 'whyaretheydead.net' site

Postby Daffy » Wed Jun 24, 2009 11:46 pm

You may have noticed that the old 'whyaretheydead.net' site where this board was located until October 2008 has now closed completely and its domain name taken over by a domain name reseller.

This means that all links to the old site from this board or anywhere else on the Web will not work.

It also means that it will be harder to find this board via a Google search. If any of you have links to the old board location on your website could you please update it asap.

Also if anyone has a wikipedia account it would be helpful if you could update the entry for the School of Economic Science (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_of_economic_science) as someone has removed the link to this board. Editing of this page is only permitted by established wikipedia users.

If a link on this site or anywhere else points to a post on the old http://www.whyaretheydead.net, you can find the relocated post as follows by replacing "www.whyaretheydead.net/phpBB2" with "www.ses-forums.org".

For example:

Replace:
http://www.whyaretheydead.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1

With:
http://www.ses-forums.org/viewtopic.php?t=1

I came across that site when I was looking for this forum, and noticed it had changed and that the person selling the ads for the site was called Bob Parsons - Im pretty sure I met a Bob Parsons in SOP from one of the schools up north, might just be one of these strange coincidences ....... or not!
