PICKING ON SAM? HEAD BOY/ EQUAL OPPURTUNITIES

Postby Zathura » Tue Feb 28, 2006 7:21 pm

Someone has questioned the ability of someone who quite possibly could be to some extent dyslexic and probably isn't that acedemically inclined to be a head boy. Surely it is a good sign that not the Rugby Jock, nor the super smart swot has been chosen as head boy. Only people in high street jobs, with suites etc, blinded by the commercial conventional world would judge a character through spelling for instance. Yet another use of seemingly smart arguments being used to support a sense of a right and just world that just applies to one part of it. The world does not run on spelling or the qualities needed in the workplace in whose grip 80% of people are trapped in jobs they do not like.
