Something I thought of - how about a couple of new pinned threads at the top of the board, one for SES leavers and one for childhood survivors?

These could explain the site and how it works (and how it's evolved) and give them a safe place to post their first contact with the board. Then those of us who are here to offer support from either group could do so on that post and then encourage them to open their own threads etc.

If needed,I'd be happy to write the initial post for the childhood survivors one, as I have pretty much been here from the beginning and know how the site came about and how it migrated over to this website after Mike Gormez retired.

Maybe one of the adult leavers would be happy to write something similar for the other thread explaining what goes on on here for adult survivors (tbh I don't read much of this, as it really doesn't apply to me).

Both the initial posts could be edited as the site continues to evolve.

This is all a bit "off the top of my head" but I hope it makes sense!
