SES MEMBERS: LEARN HOW TO START YOUR OWN CULT!

Postby Justice » Sat Mar 31, 2007 9:18 pm

Any School of Economic Science members who are interested in starting their own Cult, or perhaps more wisely, are interested in finding out how they may have been indoctrinated in the first place, will be fascinated by a brilliant short film which can been seen online at Youtube.

You can see the film by going to:

http://www.youtube.com

and then type in 'Mind Control Cults' in the Search box. When you get to the next page, look for the film which is called 'Mind Control Cults' and is described as: "A genius video about how to start a cult"

I'm quite certain that most SES members will recognise some very familiar themes!

SES MEMBERS: LEARN HOW TO START YOUR OWN CULT!

There is another interesting (but disturbing) short film on Mind Control which features a middle aged women who answered an advertisement for a self- help / self-improvement course. She describes what happened when she went along to their 'Introduction' meeting.

Like the SES, this is a large organisation that operates in various countries around the world.

Once again, you can see the film by going to:

http://www.youtube.com

and then type in 'Cult Mind Control' in the Search box. When you get to the next page, look for the film which is called:

"Brain washing in a Godless Big Business Cult"

I would be interested to hear what people think of these short films.

Came across this link:

The more recent posts near the bottom of the blog have it just about spot-on re: SES.

I also watched the 2 YouTube videos again. The advertising of Landmark Forum (the subject of the 2nd video) on its website is remarkably similar to the advertising of SES on its website!

I'm currently reading 'American Fascists The Christian Right and the War on America' by Chris Hedges. The conversion tactics of far right fundamentalist Christians are again remarkably similar to those of the SES. Some quotes from the book:

'The new convert is drawn gradually into a host of activities'
'The only proper relationship is submission to those above you'
Use of 'heavily loaded language, the words and phrases that allow believers to speak in code as "thought-terminating cliches"'
'Rules are incorporated slowly and deliberately into the convert's belief system'
'The teaching of an exclusive, spiritual elitism'
'They are taught to value personal experience over reason, and to reject reason'
'They discourage independent thought and action'.

Many of the parents of children at the schools will not have a clue what they're getting into as it's so smoothly obscured in the FAQ booklet and on the websites.
