New Yahoo group for all former St Vedast / St James pupils

As the current '7th Form' organisation is far too closely allied to the existing school for my tastes (& those of others I suspect) I have started a new discussion group for all former pupils.

The intention is to have a neutral group where all former pupils are welcome, regardless of views etc. Please join by visiting http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/St_V_J_Reunited/

It is a closed group so you will have to actively join (please enter an intro with some examples of whose class you were in) and it will be (lightly) moderated so please be polite & considerate in anything you post.

Cheers

Mike

This is by way of a 'bump' as this thread is about to drop onto page 2 of the forum and to say that the group has been reasonably successful with 11 members joining so far.

Have a happy new year.

Best Wishes
Mike

...Just bumping up the group...

And to reiterate that the group is a NEUTRAL group for ALL former members of St V & St J to meet up, say what they want to say, maybe get in touch with an old schoolmate, anything goes - within reason :squarewink:

Hello all,

I am new to the board and will be posting my (and my family's story) soon. I've tried to join the yahoo group but my membership is still pending.

I also wrote an email to one of the moderators here so as to change my name to here to my real one...no reply yet.

I look forward to exchanging views with you all very soon.

Regards

Joseph

Thanks Tom,

I've been totally shocked to read this forum and it's like a can of worms have been opened.

I've read mcuh of what you've written Tom and saw you on the cahnnel 4 report.

I'll contribute soon, I have to clear what I write with my Mum, as it's a painful story for her (and me).

In a bit
