PRISON

Postby (Matt) » Mon Dec 13, 2004 4:30 pm

The real thing is for Debenham etc to realise what they did was bullshit! And stupid and misguided. Kids don't need to be controlled! Who do you think you are. Do you really think you know anything that kid doesn't! Maclaren wasn't intelligent. He was a fool. Every kid knows more than any of us adults.
Until society realise that young peoples intuitions are more sound than anything else on the planet the world will live in delusion.
Prison could be a very real factor with some of these claims. If responsibility is denied then some of these 'victims' will call for PRISON! and take it to the courts. ST James IS NOT taking the allegations seriously!

Dr Francis Roles, the successor of Ouspensky in the 'Study Society', and one of Maclaren's mentors, towards the end of their relationship described Maclaren (SES founder) as a madman, and eventually cut all ties with him. Even high-up SES members have said similar things about him. Maclaren's Indian guru, the Sri Shankar?c?rya, said that children should be taught 'the teaching' when they are receptive and alert, and it should be done in a joyful and loving environment. It should never be forced on them when they are exhausted after a long and arduous day. MacLaren clearly had other ideas. My mother was one of the evening-class tutors. Every week she would see children in obvious discomfort and falling asleep in the lectures. She complained about this at one of the meetings and suggested that beds be set-up for the children to sleep in if they were tired. This was reported back to MacLaren. He promptly declared her as "a dangerous woman - she must be watched".

The only way for this enquiry not to be a farce is to hand the matter of to the relevent authority ( the police? the child abuse agency? ) and let them choose who to conduct the independent inqiury) That St James get to choose the independent chairman is so obviously farcical.
