Bella - I wasn't referring to "you" personally. You may not assume that the "man knows more" but that's certainly what I was taught. And whether it means that he actually has more cognitive knowledge or whether he "knows best" is, I think, irrelevant in its practical application.

That's pretty much what I thought to myself when you asked me the same question.

I guess if you're asking me if I believe women should be on the lookout for scraps of paper while men natter about the state of the world, or if epileptics who have fits in philosophy groups are "blinded to the truth", or if people should be asked to operate faulty boilers on residential, or if all women should be matched up with men on same residential to do their laundry for them, or if modern technology should be eschewed by the "conscientious housewife", or if women should be able to crap in the blink of an eye, or if women are actually not supposed to enjoy sex, or if pears are scary....then the answer's no. Duh. Is that your answer too? ;)
