David Boddy is retiring as the end this year and a new headmaster David Brazier will take over from next year.
Anyone know if he has connections with the SES?

St James Senior Boys has a new headmaster
Re: St James Senior Boys has a new headmaster
Interesting to see that he's on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Longclosehead and https://twitter.com/teddytoff1
He apparently introduced 'pausing' at Long Close school and he mentions meditating and attending Art in Action but that doesn't necessarily mean he's in the SES, of course. Perhaps somebody who is on Twitter could ask him? I'd also love to know what he thinks about the history of abuse at SES schools and the way that Boddy and the SES reacted to the Townend Inquiry's findings.
Nice to see that he "believes that learning should be fun and that only happy pupils learn effectively."

If David Brazier "introduced 'pausing' at Long Close school and he mentions meditating and attending Art in Action" it seems reasonably likely he is a member of thr SES, and perhaps this is being kept quiet for the time being to avoid any controversy whilst he settles in?
I came across this entry for the "The Good Schools Guide Review of St James Senior Boys’ School" which contains some interesting comments:
Pastoral Care and Discipline
The pervasive philosophical ethos of the school is its principal defence against misbehaviour and anti-social behaviour of all kinds.
Boys not prepared to toe the line have a tough time of it - most come round in the end. The prefect system, class representation on the school council and the form masters pick up the rest.

Oh, the irony.
Because the pervasive philosophical ethos of the school was the principal cause of misbehaviour and anti-social behaviour of all kinds.

Certainly not much individuality being shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jF3hXu2wH3g
I was wondering about the girl standing on a chair at about 0:16. Are the teacher and pupils pointing and chanting at her? If so, why? Any ideas?

Maybe he won't always insist that youngsters have to always do what they had to in the past...?
Re: St James Senior Boys has a new headmaster
That video gives me the chills. This is indoctrination. Just listen to some of the translations.
Pupil at St James Girl's School from 1979-1989, from age 4-14. Parents ex-members of SES.
