I'm not a member, never have been.

Show me one case of libel derived from something published on an internet forum.

Donald Lambie is a bribe-taking, wife-beating, cocaine-snorting, homosexual CIA agent who sexually abuses newts. Now, where's the libel suit?

Re: actuallythere's above post

That's just calling people names - no one takes any notice of that.

I'm no lawyer, but it would be very hard to successfully prosecute a libel case against someone publishing their honest account of their own experiences.

Bonsai and actuallythere,

I did get legal advice regarding libel, which I have mentioned on another topic. A local lawyer read my notes and advised me to get specialist advice, and not to do anything until I did. I contacted a specialist who charges between £1,500 and £2,500 for advice on the length of piece I have written which I cannot afford right now. So, I have taken that legal advice not to post anything, even though actually I think you are probably both right.

For what it's worth, no-one claiming to represent the SES has ever contacted this forum asking for material to be taken down. If I received any threat of legal action I would likely ignore it and/or reproduce it here for all to see.

If you have something honest to post, go ahead and do it!

I realise you are all most likely right and I do feel I owe it to the forum to post what I have to say, but just can't bring myself to do it, I'm sorry.

I understand the fear, but we also know from history that the organisation has a bark worse than its bite. As far as I know there has been no legal actions taken over the Secret Cult, any of the news reports. And certainly the threats made against Clara Salaman have not stopped the SES and St James being identified.

Perhaps another way of getting the necessary advice to determine how to deal with your material and eliminate the risks of publishing is to seek to publish it through the mainstream media somehow. Maybe try and get the attention of newspapers who have published about the SES before as if they are interested in the material, they will be able to manage the risk of the libel, and probably be able to offer you a bit of protection.

By the way, I don't think you owe us. However we are interested, as the journey you have been on coming out of the SES has been involved and the bits that you have written do seem to shed good light on the organisation.

Have you considered approaching Wikileaks?

http://wikileaks.org/

They have published a large amount of information on Scientology. See:

Thanks for your comments Bonsai and Justice.

I appreciate the pointers, but I don't really want to try to get media attention and I don't think what I have to say is juicy enough for them to be honest anyway.

Best wishes, Bluemoon

I would agree with actuallythere that the SES would never bring a libel case to court. Yes they do have a lot of smart lawyers in their ranks. But they know that having Donald Lambie in the dock would be fatal for the schools prestige. I personally would love to cross examine him about The Law of Manu and other of the schools doctrines. In my humble opinion the SES is on its last legs because the younger generation will not put up with all its nonsense. The oldies are passing away and Lady Gaga is not interested in becoming its leader so lets just let nature take its course.

If Bluemoon is frightened, why not email the text to Daffy, and see what happens. Given Daffy has said he would post an enquiry letter from SES if it ever arrived, there is a chance that Daffy might post the text. In that case Bluemoon would not, in the remotest of senses, have published the text (and I maintain that even if Bluemoon published them in a silk embossed pamphlet with sparkly stars on it, there would be no lawsuit). Thus, the fear factor would be removed.

@Bluemoon, I am not going to pull any punches and I would rather encourage you to overcome your fear of SES. Making you afraid is part of their mind control, which they evidently still have over you. That's why I posted the message about Donald Lambie above, to prove there is nothing to fear. And nor can the truth be sued. For what its worth, my opinion is that it would be personally beneficial to you stand up for yourself and post the notes. You don't owe us anything. But I'm sure you're aware of how we are all giving a lot of attention to your bogie man in the cupboard who we are telling you isnt there; and you are referring to notes that for us are some mystery treasure that we're not allowed to see. It is slightly tormenting, not just for you but also for everyone else. So posting the notes would also be a relief for us, as well as for you.

Kind regards

You can upload material like this to http://reference.ses-forums.org. You can then post a link to it on this forum, and, for photos (JPGs), you can embed the image in your post.

You have to register on reference.ses-forums.org to post there, or you can just email me the material and I will post it on your behalf. Email me at admin DOT mail AT ses-forums DOT org (translate that into a regular email address - I've set it out this way for spam prevention).

Here is Bluemoon's image:

Image

I don't seem to be able to get it to display any larger here, but for a larger image click on this link: http://reference.ses-forums.org/wp-cont ... cademy.jpg. Most browsers will allow you to click on it a second time to see it full size.

Bluemoon, over to you for an explanation...
