Can someone please explain the bizarre pop-art penguin containing a man smoking a pipe which always appears at the top-left of this web page?!

The penguin is the logo of Linux, the free (or 'open source') operating system that is now the main competitor to Microsoft Windows.

Neither me nor this site has any assocation whatsoever with that stuff, the only reason the penguin and Dobbs are on this site is because I liked the image immediately when I saw it for the first time. The image is clickable and will bring you to the main page of this board.

Also there's a long running gag between me and some people how I am a supposed penguin breeding farmer or something.
