Just to add to the pot, how about this one?

The following may also be of interest, being the 2001 and 2004 Education Revue Office reports on the Ficino school. ... 5.htm?Open ... 5.htm?Open

The reports are done every 3 years so another one is due in the coming year.

On a more cheerful note, I'd like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.

And season's greetings to you, Boeing Driver.

Good to see them making improvements. 2001 report was damning. Still a tiny school though. The Australian schools seem to be similarly small. Wonder to what extent the percentage of SES/SOP families has changed over time? Suspect that the schools will always be limited in their ability to attract non-SES/SOP without greater transparency.

Although the site seems rather thorough, anyone reading it should know that the entries are written from a Christian perspective, and therefore condemn almost anything that isn't typically Christian. Each entry has a blinky next to it with things like "OK", "warning" "Danger" (the worst) ,etc. to let you know the level of worry each entry entails. Like the first one in the alphabet:

Abortion "danger" - "There is probably no greater danger to New Zealanders than abortion."

And Islam "False Religion".

Too bad it's going to be hard for people to take the entry on the Philosophy school seriously given such other entries. Esp. when that entry is 50% quotes or citations from the bible.

No greater danger to New Zealanders than abortion? What crack are they smoking!
